Get ready to challenge yourself and make a difference at the Dempsey Challenge, taking place Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Lewiston, Maine—or virtually from anywhere in the world.

Join thousands of runners, walkers, and cyclists in-person or online to help raise crucial funds for the Dempsey Center’s no-cost services for people impacted by cancer, including counseling, integrative therapies, support groups, wellness coaching, and more.

Whether you choose a 5K run/walk, a 10K, or a ride of varying distances, there’s an option for every fitness level. For a true endurance test, try the Dempsey Duathlon: a 4.5‑mile run followed by a 21.5‑mile ride.

Virtual participants receive a bib, t-shirt, fundraising toolkit, and have the option to earn a finisher patch shipped to their home.
